THERMOFLOC, the natureplus® certified cellulose insulation material, satisfies all customer needs in terms of thermal insulation properties, building biology standards and processing options. The insulation material is used for floor, wall, ceiling and roof insulation and – in combination with THERMOFLOC vapor-proof lining, roof sheathing rolls and adhesive materials – provides a permanent and efficient insulation system meeting the most demanding quality requirements. Moreover, it ensures a comfortable indoor climate while considerably reducing heating expenditures.

Cellulose insulation with the THERMOFLOC blow-in insulation material
The processor can produce insulation thicknesses between 20 and 500 mm with THERMOFLOC blown-in insulation material, eliminating the storage of several insulation material sizes (as with insulation boards and insulation felts). The compression of the insulation material is thereby between 25 and 65 kg/m3, depending on the area of application.
Insulation without cutting waste and with simplified building board logistics
Snijafval is er praktisch niet, omdat steeds precies de voor de desbetreffende constructie benodigde hoeveelheid isolatiemateriaal in het gedeelte van het bouwwerk wordt geblazen. Voorts wordt de bouwplaatslogistiek eenvoudiger, omdat de bouwmaterialen in het gebouw niet meer handmatig getransporteerd hoeven te worden.

THERMOFLOC is manufactured from type-pure newsprint with the addition of mineral substances for preservation and fire prevention. The paper is coarsely shredded and then further processed into fine, elastic cellulose fibers in a fiber mill. The finished product is then bagged and stacked on pallets. Internal & external quality control ensures that THERMOFLOC cellulose insulation meets the highest European quality requirements. Documented by a European technical approval.
Blow-in insulation for the manual infilling by means of bags
Therefore the cellulose insulation material is pumped under air pressure into the hollow spaces of the building components, where it is compressed in accordance with the material handling instructions to produce an uninterrupted and complete insulation layer that is open to diffusion.
Blow-in insulation for the fixed factory filling by means of big-bales
Combined with the factory filling system by x-floc, comprising a blowing panel, big bale conditioner and blowing machine, it is possible to factory-insulate timber frame elements optimally according to the processing guidelines.
